Deposits

​

To guarantee your reservation for a one-night stay; you must pay upon booking.   A deposit of  50 percent is required for a stay of two or more nights*.

​

*For the months of June,  July, & August, as well as graduation, parents weekend, alumni week, and Harborfest; when a 100 percent deposit is required. 

 

Also if you are booking more than one room; a complete payment is needed.  If only a deposit is made/required at the time of booking; the balance is due at the time of arrival and may be paid by cash or credit card.

 

Cancellations
 

As we are a very small B & B with only four rooms cancellations affect us greatly and our cancellation policies need to be strict.

Cancellations  require a 14 day advance notice with the exception of:

​

June 1st through August 31st. Including graduation, parents' weekend, alumni week,  Super Dirt Week in October; where a 30-day notice is required.*  

 

Refunds within the above time frame will be given less a $25 service charge. 

 

*No refunds on bookings for Harborfest dates in July.​

​

* There is no refund if you cancel after the cancellation requirement timeframe.

​

If you have arrived, paid for your stay and need to leave early; there are no refunds for June 1st through August  31st also including graduations, parent's weekend, alumni week, and Super Dirt Week in October .  Any dates outside  these will be refunded lass a $25 fee.

 

Check-in time

 

Check-in time is between 3 and 6 pm.

Earlier or later check-ins will be considered; inquire previous to your stay.   Earlier check-ins, if available,  will incur a $30 charge.

 

Check-out time

 

Check-out time is 11 am.  No exceptions.

The Merriam Vincent Guest House is a health conscience, non-smoking establishment.

 

No pets are accepted

 

No candles or incense are permitted.

 Rates are for single/double occupancy and are subject to change.

The Merriam Vincent Guest House is not responsible for any loss or damage of your property, injury, or accident.

​

The guest house accommodates couples, business people, and travelers and provides a relaxing quiet environment not indicative of entertaining children.
